Welcome to the new site! Until now, everything had been running on WordPress. It served us well for a while, but it eventually became more of a burden than a benefit. WordPress was tiresome to maintain, a bit sluggish, and honestly overkill for what I needed.
Recently, I switched a few of the other sites I manage over to Jekyll and was happy with the results, so yesterday, I decided to bite the bullet and migrate this one too. Since this site had quite a bit more content, the process was definitely more difficult. The export wasn’t perfect, and I had to manually edit every post. Still, the end result was absolutely worth it.
Coincidentally, the Steam Zombies vs. Vampires Fest also started today, and Z: The End is now 20% off through June 2nd.
