Surprise, Just Jump is still being worked on. It’s still just a side project that I’ve been using to get some experience in the mobile field.
The game has now transitioned into the beta phase. Most of the content I wanted to add has been added. Just Jump has always been a simple game and I want to keep it that way. In its current state, the game is feature complete, so there’s not going to be and major additions from now on. The following updates will mostly consist of fixes and tweaks to the current systems.
You can now triple jump because double jumping wasn’t good enough.
– Changed the look of the menu buttons
– Changed fonts
– Fixed platforms not spawning
– Fixed high scores not saving
Update time! This update is mainly focused on targeting the new Google APIs but there are bug fixes along with it.
The target API is now 26 as it will be required in a few months.
Fixes and Changes:
– Fixed main menu text
– Changed splash screen to the new logo
– Fixes for platforms not showing up
– Changed button text to white
– Changed target API to 26
Its time for a Just Jump update. Z is still my number one priority which is why Just Jump has been getting ignored but I finally got around to getting some stuff done.
Speed now increases with your score. The speed stops increasing after 400 pts because I was only able to set the speed to 140. Anything above 140 caused crashes, I might find a fix for this next update.
You can now triple jump which makes it a bit easier with the speed increases.
– Changed fonts of numbers
– Added collision at the top of the screen
– Changed fps limit to 60
After buying the new domain the site was down for about a week or so. There were a few problems on the host’s side due to some miscommunication but after fixing that as well as making WordPress cooperate everything is back. One minor change is there probably won’t be any more sub-domains/domain for each project excluding larger projects like Z. Instead they will just have their own page on the site.
